Step One : Choose Your Design If you would like to create a more complex design, tracing around your chosen image onto your fabric is definitely an option! However, for this tutorial we'll just be using basic shapes so that everyone can follow along easily no matter their skill level ! You could also choose to sew your designs onto the reverse side of your fabric if desired . Either way is totally up to you ! :) Once you have selected your design , trace it using either pencil or pen . Be sure not to erase any previous markings made !
